I see a rating of 4/3 Not sure what he/she is thinking. This is a very good portrait. It has technique,simplicity, not the same old thing, and there are no gimmicks. It is a quiet peaceful photo It is a beutiful shot of a beautiful subject. I would hang it

This is a very wonderful and warm portrait of a lovely model. Her gaze into the distance really makes the viewer wonder about what she could be thinking. The tones are just great, lending further softness to the image, as does the background. It is simply charming-

Eyes! I'd like to see this in more of a 3/4 rather than head shot. I think it would "work" better. Nice work, Doug.

Thanks much for the comment and your suggestion. I have enough space in the original to crop as you suggest, and I'll certainly give it a look.
