bobatkins 1 Posted April 1, 2008 I find this a very well balanced image. Love the curve of the stem which leads the eye though the frame to the burst of color and the slighly unusual view showing the back of the flower rather than the face. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted April 29, 2009 I'll hop on the bandwagon here in favour of the bloom placement within the frame and the curved stem which tends to lead a wandering eye back to the main show. The totally black background leaves no distractions from your subject and the soft light leaves no dark shadows to hide any details. The overall sharpness is icing on the cake. Nicely done! Best, LM.
