samrat 1 Posted April 6, 2008 A row of houses off the island of Anglesey, Wales. I think these sheltered workers in the area who managed the lighthouse there. Thanks for your critique. Link to comment
maria_di_liegro 0 Posted April 7, 2008 This is a very pleasing photo with a nice composition and sky. I like that it does not look to have the heavy hand of processing. I would, as a suggestion, brighten it just slightly to perk up the white a little, but that's about it. This vantage point conveys the simple life for those who live there. One of the other things I like is the limited color pallette. It's refreshing. Regards, Maria Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted January 29, 2011 Excellent I like the warm tone of the white so not sure that I'd brighten. It is perfect light. Bright sun would not work. It also works in BW but color I think is better. Link to comment
samrat 1 Posted January 29, 2011 As far as I remember, this photo was taken on a bright day. The difference was the camera. Before my present Canon, I had a Panasonic DMC FZ5 which was a compact with a manual mode. The 12X optical zoom helped as did the image stabilization. I grew to know the camera well and may of the sharper photos you see in my portfolio were taken with this. Once I knew photography as a hobby would stay, I switched to the present Canon EOS 40D.Thank you for going through my photos. Link to comment
