lostinspace 0 Posted March 17, 2008 It is stunning, I think it works perfectly. So dark and dramatic, like a moonlit night, brilliant POV and DOF. Well done, I love it, best regards, Hugh. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 17, 2008 Of course this works! What a great sky you've captured. The FG is less dramatic compared to the coast line and sky, but gives good viewer POV. The two blown out spots don't diminish this comp! Link to comment
color 3 Posted March 17, 2008 Hi Ryan. Nice shot. I think greyscale works fine here, but I suggest you consider doing some dodging and burning. I did that to a copy that I'm attaching to this critique. Hope you find it useful. Link to comment

cbyers 0 Posted March 17, 2008 I started to not critique because you've had so many useful comments, but found compelled to write. The image is striking, and in a sea of photographs waiting for review/critique this stands out. Most appealing. I wish I had taken it! I like the retouched version also...maybe a little better to bring out the foreground detail. Link to comment
aslavihervuori 0 Posted March 18, 2008 Great photo. It gives threatening mood that is powered by calm water. Yes, I think bigger waves would have eaten that feeling... Well done. No ratings, as I do not them anymore. a s l a Link to comment
