Located on the Lake Huron side of the Bruce Peninsula (Ontario) near

Tobermory. The water surges in & out every few minutes exposing these

patterns in the sand. Most effective at sunset with it's low angled

lighting. While concentrating on photographing these patterns you can

suddenly find that you've been surrounded by the incoming surge. Not

to worry, it's only a couple of inches deep & in 15 minutes or so the

water retreats leaving more patterns to photograph. Sound like fun?

It was.

Sound like a lot of fun... taking photos should be fun! I Like the colors as well as the patterns on this one. I would rate this the highest of all in the folder.

I've never had the pleasure of actually hearing the singing sands, but the area is a wonderful spot for a camera. Good one.

Though I don't know this place at all, I definitely think the composition and exposure are great. Well done.

This is really very late to the party...;-))

...but traveling a bit in  your files , this is like music nots in my eyes.... Very beautiful light, and  forms. I can really hear the music of the water and winds...the DOF  and the BG blue color is  very delicate as the whole is!

Well, Worth being late... ;-))

Thanks for going the extra mile by digging deep into my older posts.  I do this once in a while myself.  Strange thing about this location, one can actually hear the water rippling across the sandy bottom especially near sunset (my only experience)  Not tidal but probably a shift in the wind causes the water to come across the sandy shore.  Nice to experience. Some homework if you are interested.  This beach is located on the Bruce Peninsula.   Best, LM.
