@Lidija: You have a point here. In fact, I considered cropping as you proposed but I decided against it because I found the pair of trees at the bottom were a nice variation of the "tree theme" balancing the shadows of their companions above.

This idea is probably not quite achieved as I intended - probably jeopardized by the different pattern in the background of the two trees (as it cuts quite strongly through the image).

 

For comparison, here's a cropped version with 1:1 aspect ratio.

Remarkable composition....I would be happy as well with the option of cropping the bottom to get an almost square format starting at the horizontal lines at the top of the first trees..
