wolfgangarnold 142 Posted March 8, 2008 Bright winter sun, low above the horizon emphasizes shapes and patterns of a small avenue through undulating landscape. Link to comment
ilfotomatico 0 Posted March 8, 2008 I think it's an impact image. I really like the game of lines created by the shadows of the trees and the sinuous curves of the road. Congratulations. Link to comment
silaart 0 Posted March 8, 2008 I have a feeling that you have two photos here. I would cut it above those two trees. Beside that it is very nice landscape :) Link to comment
wolfgangarnold 142 Posted March 10, 2008 ...for encouraging feedback. @Lidija: You have a point here. In fact, I considered cropping as you proposed but I decided against it because I found the pair of trees at the bottom were a nice variation of the "tree theme" balancing the shadows of their companions above. This idea is probably not quite achieved as I intended - probably jeopardized by the different pattern in the background of the two trees (as it cuts quite strongly through the image). For comparison, here's a cropped version with 1:1 aspect ratio. Link to comment
Yves Petronin 42 Posted February 28, 2010 Remarkable composition....I would be happy as well with the option of cropping the bottom to get an almost square format starting at the horizontal lines at the top of the first trees.. Link to comment
kats_creations 0 Posted March 26, 2010 Great shot. Love the various lines and curves. Great texture. I like it better with the two trees at the bottom rather than cropping them out. Link to comment
