A very cold and beautiful February morning at Mono Lake, CA. Comments

and critiques much appreciated.

Beautiful colors and excellent foreground interest. Too bad the airplanes had to leave streaks across the sky. The ripples on the water are great. Looks like smoke on the horizon to the right. Might be nice to crop that out. All in all, a beautiful photo!

I've no nits on this, Bob! It is perfectly sublime! A wonderful and quite different take on an iconic California image. Well done; a real treat to look at. Hopefully the folks on the commercial aircraft were enjoying the sunrise too! Cheers! Chris

That's a really nice shot. The fact that there is snow in the image makes all the difference. I do think however that you should remove the contrails and reduce the saturation of the sky to natural levels.
