bosshogg 4 Posted February 29, 2008 Ratings are just like kids. They have a place, but they need not totally control our artistic output. Amongst most of my Pnet friends, I am one of the few who likes them. I don't consider them all that accurate a predictor of artistic success, but it's a fun little exercise. Sort of like listening to the weather report. Now, about the pornographic image. Pornographic?? Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted February 29, 2008 I'm not sure about pornographic but voyeuristic for sure :) Judging by how much stooping is going on here, the guy who designed the cut out must have been pretty short. The big "?" you leave us with, is the joy of this one for me. I love that you have avoided showing either persons face or the cut out. It leaves us with some rather odd appearing back alley behaviour to ponder, which may well be what Ton is alluding to. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted February 29, 2008 Damn, I was kind of pleased with pornographic! Okay, clearly voyeuristic fits the case. They never knew they were being observed, much less photographed. I think the cutout was designed for kids, and therefore is low to the ground. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted February 29, 2008 The fact that the cut out was for kids rather than midgets was so obvious it went clean over my head :) Link to comment
florainer 0 Posted March 3, 2008 did she take a photo of a bare breasted lady smilingߠor a simple bodybuilder? great catch. and the 10most recent folder is a good idea too. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted March 3, 2008 Thanks very much. That folder was suggested to me, because once they are not on the home page, they disappear into all sorts of folders. I know other Pnetters have done that and found it successful. Link to comment
zambaras 0 Posted March 5, 2008 An excellent street shot - spontaneous, candid, humourous but also so 'telling'. I like the anarchy prevailing through out this shot and the white/blue/brown only colour combination. Very well done! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted March 5, 2008 Thanks. I spent some time on your portfolio several weeks ago, and found so many images I thought were outstanding. Getting a compliment from someone as accomplished as you is an honor. Link to comment
