thadley 15 Posted February 24, 2008 She was ignoring him and unfortunately (guys - you know) then he decided to be a bit more assertive and then she told him that she does not do that on the first date. The assertion was too much for her and also my shutter speed and the low light. Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted March 24, 2008 What GREAT colors in these birds. They're beautiful ... and seem to have such great expressions on their faces! Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted March 24, 2008 Lou Ann thanks for stopping by and commenting. Part of the reason we put our images on PN is to share, to get feedback and get a gauge of how many people like it. This image has been getting a high number of views - considerably more than images that I thought would have generated more interest. Just wondering if it is the title and/or the image itself. I suppose I should submit it to the critique forum so that a wider circle of photographers can tell me their likes and dislikes. Regards, Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 24, 2008 I don't think it's the caption. Not that the caption is bad or anything. I DO think that it's the fact that you seemed to have captured some human-like quality in the "expressions" on their faces. It's almost like I could have a conversation with either one of them. :-) And the color pops right out of the thumbnail, which would definitely make me click on it right away (actually, it DID make me click on it right away). :-D Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted April 22, 2008 Well, I like both, the birds and the title... Seriously, the vivid colors really jumped out of the thumbnail and the full size, with the overhead lighting is almost 3D. Great shot! Mike Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 22, 2008 Thanks - I was actually putting this one up for critique only and I forgot to check the box. I have just been reading and reading about the D300 and salivating about what i could do with it. Got to turn in now for some shut eye. Link to comment
