Christal1664882414 0 Posted February 25, 2008 I got this picture of my husband 'playing' golf with Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer at the Wax Museum in Las Vegas. I obviously know it's a 'fake' picture. But I jokingly sent this out to some friends, and they honestly believed my husband REALLY played with them, and they were not just pulling my leg. It doesn't look THAT real, does it? This was just for fun. I also got one of him playing basketball with Shaq (or Shaq's wax figure). And my husband really IS a basketball player, so that looked pretty authentic. Link to comment
thistleandthat 1 Posted August 18, 2009 you really have to look at it pretty good to tell its not real. actually, the reason i clicked on the thumbnail is because i thought it was real. and depending on the size that you sent out in the email, and the quality of the people's computer, then yes, i would see why they would be mistaken! Christal1664882414 0 Posted August 18, 2009 Thanks! We had a lot of fun doing this. We had never been to a wax museum before.....frankly, we had thought it was a rather dumb touristy thing to do......but we went and loved it. Creating waxed figures is an amazing art, and it gives people like us a chance to rub shoulders (literally) with the rich and famous. :-) Thanks for digging this one out of the archives!
