abintraphoto 0 Posted February 28, 2008 Hi Donna - I like this alot - viewed Larger, yes - Great idea, great subject with a nice repeating background - of the 'subject' no less - (-; Something about it is bothering me and I not sure what - you caught the 4 birds in very good 'flight' position - there is enough distance between the foreground birds and the background to make them stand out, size wise ........ but I'm thinking it's the outline of the 4 birds being broken up by the background that's distracting me. So I asked myself (figuratively - sol) what I would do to deal with that ...... possibly using the widest aperture on the lens would blur the background a little more - I'm not sure .... and it would make a difficult focusing task a bit harder. And maybe some selective cloning to make their beaks or outline stand out more. Not alot - just some .... I don't use layers so maybe there's a background layer thingy one could do to blur the background a little more or some such thing. Either way - you do a really killer job job getting shots of these guys which I know isn't easy from my long history of failure trying to match the quality of your bird shots ...... Ok, the more I look at it the more I like it - especially as a large print on the wall - hoping you do print it big. Good job Yankee - (-; Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted March 2, 2008 VERY cool. I like Ken can imagine this REALLY large someplace. Someplace like a huge gallery wall! it is a bit scary in a way, like the Hitchcock movie. Was it very loud inside the "blast" of all these wings? Link to comment
