aepelbacher 0 Posted February 15, 2008 I've been digging around in some of my older images. This was taken on a vacation in Colorado Springs in April of 2006. Is the sky boring? How's the composition? Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted February 16, 2008 This scene overpowers the plain sky. The warm foreground rocks contrast with the snow covered peak and make this a very good shot! Mike Link to comment
daverave 1 Posted February 16, 2008 Well you know, Lu Ann, how tough it is to take an outstanding photo with the sun virtually directly behind you and relatively high. On this shot I wouldn't be adverse to cropping out the sky entirely, leaving a bit of snowy mountain and pumping up the red saturation a little. This shot would work a lot better earlier or later in the day. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted February 16, 2008 It was actually rather early in the morning ... but the sky was crystal clear (obviously) and the sun is bright the second it comes up. Gave me lots of problems on this shoot. I wish there had been some nice puffy clouds to help diffuse the sun at times....... Link to comment
