Any suggestions what should be different? If someone has an idea on

how to remove the busy background, let me hear it, I really want to know!

I believe you've done very well. Great lighting and composure. With the DOF you have here, the background isn't busy at all. I think it adds to the frame.

Very nicely done. I agree--I don't think the background is a problem at this DOF.

This is a nice portrait...I love the lighting and the models expression. I must say though that I like the other portrait of the same model better...I think the straight on shot is more flattering.

I agree, the background doesn't seem busy. The vertical stripe gave the background a bit more texture. I love the focus on the model's eye.
