chris_conrad 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Lovely color palette--very soft contrasted with the coarseness of the rock. Nice work. ~chris Link to comment
john_demott 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Hi Becky, It looks like you had beautiful light that morning. I love the soft colors, the glow of light on the arch and the contrasting warm and cool colors in the sky. There is a nice progression or pattern of the rocks leading the eye back to the hill in the distance. I think I would prefer to see the composition brought in tighter (cropped) so that the arch simply frames the view beyond (without any view of the upper edges of the arch). When I see the entire arch silhouetted against the sky, it makes such a strong geometric shape that the arch wants to be the dominant subject. But I find the simplicity of the arch competing visually with the much more complex patterns of the boulders seen through the arch. Thanks for sharing this lovely moment. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Sweet shot! I love your composition; I think it is spot-on. I might like a touch more contrast in this; particularly the foreground and middle-ground granite boulders. Gorgeous light and colors. Well seen and captured! Cheers! Chris Link to comment

alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted February 24, 2008 This is so gorgeous I'm tempted to think it can't be real! And I wouldn't change a kilobyte. It's perfect! Brava!! Link to comment
peten 0 Posted March 9, 2008 Hi Becky, The pastel colours are a welcome change to the oversaturated offerings which seem to be the norm of late. Its been some time since I last looked but having just browsed your portfolio again I find much to like. A fine body of work. Regards Pete. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 28, 2008 Very nice lighting and texture. I like that you haven't bumped up the contrast too much so this is subtle and appealing. Link to comment
