Nicely composed. I like the boxiness of the two buildings and the space between them under the wire.

Mike, I'd love to have given this the 7/7 it deserves but the ratings system wouldn't allow it. This photograph simultaneously projects a sense of the past... with a sense of present day avant garde styling. Impressive creativity in the composition. The power line connecting the two building is just too good!

This is a great image because it is simple AND yet complicated. The stark whiteness contrasts with the dark structures. I enjoy staring at it.

At my age it is quite possible that I am "losing it," but I'd swear I commented on an image very similar to this that you posted. Well, never mind. Damn fine work here. I couldn't help but think of a mother and offspring, with the umbilical cord still attached. Is that out of the box or what? Beautiful, solitary, shouting it's quietude.

Thanks Dave, I thought about that Mother/Child aspect of it too. I don't know what possible use there is for electricity here, maybe a yard light, but that small box is an electrical transformer. They must use the juice for something
