dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Nicely composed. I like the boxiness of the two buildings and the space between them under the wire. Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Mike, I'd love to have given this the 7/7 it deserves but the ratings system wouldn't allow it. This photograph simultaneously projects a sense of the past... with a sense of present day avant garde styling. Impressive creativity in the composition. The power line connecting the two building is just too good! Link to comment

lizweisiger 0 Posted February 8, 2008 This is a great image because it is simple AND yet complicated. The stark whiteness contrasts with the dark structures. I enjoy staring at it. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted February 13, 2008 At my age it is quite possible that I am "losing it," but I'd swear I commented on an image very similar to this that you posted. Well, never mind. Damn fine work here. I couldn't help but think of a mother and offspring, with the umbilical cord still attached. Is that out of the box or what? Beautiful, solitary, shouting it's quietude. Mike Marcotte 50,285 Posted February 13, 2008 Thanks Dave, I thought about that Mother/Child aspect of it too. I don't know what possible use there is for electricity here, maybe a yard light, but that small box is an electrical transformer. They must use the juice for something Link to comment
