I recently submitted a similar photo for critique and have taken the

advise of members. Thank You! Although the pose is a bit different,

this one is nearly identical minus the photoshop meddling. Have I

pleased your eye and touched your heart? ~Mali

While I did not see the previous photo, I truly like this one.

The mood and composition tells a good story. The sepia tone adds to the overall mood. The only negative, for my taste, is the bottle on the chair. I think it draws the eye, and detracts for the human form vs. the bathtub.

Nice work. -- mj

"Have I pleased your eye and touched your heart"

I feel something strange about your caption and the message. I can say that pic touched my heart, but not sure about pleasing, since it tells a painful story for me.

Nice capture, great pose and sepia is the advantage.

I was one of those commenting on your previous picture - this is much better! Still, I think the sepia toning adds a warmth that you may not really want. I would suggest to keep it in cold tones, it would convey the emotions (e.g. loneliness in a cold, hard world) even more. Just my opinion ... I am honestly touched by this picture, in spite of my comments! Regards Lennart

It certainly tells a story of emotion. I too agree the tones should be cooler to really portray your message. I quite like the hot spot, but the container should go IMHO. nice work regardless.
