My 1st Portrait

Hello,

This is my first attempt at portraiture. I'm trying out my new

monolights as well as my new EF 85mm f/1.8 lens. Any comments or

suggestions would be appreciated.

Try the focus on the eyes. What was the apperture for this photo?

Better composition, yet eyes are not in focus. I find focus and recompose makes the eyes come out of focus when using large aperture. Do you also do this? better to change the focus point and not to recompose.
