mtfaidherbe1 0 Posted May 29, 2008 I generally like your photos, that is why I come back to your posts, but I still don't understand the function of this big black stripes (on top and down of this one, for example). Which effect do you expect with them? Thanks for explaining to an ignorant. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted May 29, 2008 Please go to http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7007354 if you get arrive to the right image there is an explation. The photo is in in the America folder and it is the man in Baskin Robins Ice Cream. Let me know. You may not like the idea but you will at least understand the insanity behind it. Link to comment

Lacerda 1 Posted May 29, 2008 I am back again and so long you keep making photography I will follow you, to see I bit of you inside the images, because I believe that we all put our self in all we do, and that makes photography so interesting for me, we shot others but we are together with them in the same picture. Warm regards. Link to comment
diego bardone 0 Posted September 5, 2008 Wow...as I said your portraits are amazing. Watching your shots for me is like being a kid that bothers his mother in a toys shop: "I want this, I want that..." I'll bother you again:-) Best regards Diego Link to comment
jaq 0 Posted May 10, 2010 hi, Meir, apologies for asking the same question as Marie-Thérèse. i tried to follow the link but that picture doesn't exist any more, it says. Yet i'd be interested in knowing the answer you gave there.besides that, great work. thank you. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted May 10, 2010 Are you asking about the black stripes? I layer the photos onto a SQUARE black background so that total image size is in "square format" -horizontal and vertical format image size match. That format appears better to me on the thumbnail page (not on the submitted image). Look at the 2nd folder on my page" where I used to live" The images of the vertical and horizontal format photos don't line up; they are not layered. The next folder "most recent posted, the vertical and horizontal are "squared off" and area size is the same (height x width). Not a good explanation. Lots of people on photonet don't like this. But it is too late to change now. The black is not intended to ba a frame for the photo. I picked this up from using another site which required that the pixel height and width be the same for all photo. Thanks for commenting. Link to comment
