Dredger docked for the winter, with the setting sun shining through the window.

I like the shot, I like the light in the boat window, the little bit of ice on the water, the fog, and the mood is very interesting - nice, my favorite in the folder (I haven't checked out all your folders yet though)

I rated this image 4 on Aesthetics, because I like the sense of peace or quietness that it emits. Very nicely done.

I rated this image 3 on Originality, because it seems a fairly straight-forward composition, which nevertheless works very well (I reserve 4 and 5 for those "Hey, now that's clever thinking" shots).

good color and comp.

I really love the mood this photo radiates. I would love to have a chance to see a nice print of this instead of a scan.

This is a very intersting image. the soft tone and color are great. I would of changed the comp a little. So that the window and the pushing bumper did not met.

...and what I especially like, aside from the mood of the light, is the perfect depth of field - bringing out the subject distinctly, but without blurring the background too much.

Very nice image. Very moody and especially like the ambient light in the cabin contrast to the murky outside...

I find it very intriguing as the rest of the commentors. I actually thought that the pow next to this picture seems very .. lack luster.

 

After looking at the pic for a few there is just this irksome nagging feeling of wanting to see MORE of the dredger, like I wanted to move more to the left and see the side of the boat, see its features. Other than that the picture captivated me, drawing my eyes to the bright window the things stuck in it, the feeling that the captain and crew's gone home to their families and enjoying dinner.

Pictures of boats are not original, but this dreger is unique and has character. Love the boxy shape and the texture of the paint. The somber wet overtones are brighted up by the sun lit window. Nice print.
