richterjw 1 Posted May 28, 2008 Holga is a toy camera, initially made in the US but now made in China (go figure). It has a plastic lens, fixed aperture, two shutter speeds (about 1/100 and B), and is prone to light leaks. It's just kind of a quirky medium format camera that makes me focus on composition because that's all you really have to think about. The film I used is not one I would recommend personally. Some others like it. It is a repackaged Fomapan film. It has a tendency to have holes in the emulsion and is very susceptible to scratching during development. Thanks for your comments and interest. And if you have any more questions or thoughts, feel free to send them this way. JR Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted July 27, 2008 hmm. . . You've got a real eye for these foggy night shots. This fits really well with the one I just commented upon in tone and mood. If you could get a series of 8-12 of these together, they would fit a magazine like B&W very nicely. Link to comment
