ianhoke 0 Posted January 30, 2008 Good B&W photo, imo, with lots of interesting textures created, in part, but the strong composition and the shutter speed that has not blurred the receding wave, but "pebbled" it, almost. The sweep of sand from the left of the shot is set off well by the dark cloud behind it, although the 2 farthest left poles are swallowed a bit by the deep black of the cloud. Is the shot digital? If so, I wonder what your process for making B&W images is. It works. Good photo. Link to comment

stuart_williams 0 Posted January 30, 2008 thanks for comments, all. Ian, this is shot in film (pentax 6x7 on velvia 50) and then scanned. the B&W conversion was done in PS CS2 using the channel mixer. Link to comment
