Old Schenectady

Welcome to PN Ray, you'll have fun and learn a lot, I have. I really like this composition, I'm a big fan of old buildings and signage, but I do have a couple suggestions, up the contrast and color a bit and level 'er out. There's so much photo potential in sites like this. Go look at some of David Meyer's stuff, he does great street and documentary shots.

Ah, so now I know how you found my image. Susan, I'll pay you later for the free plug. And wouldn't you know it, this is the second image I picked out to look at. I think you are right about upping the contrast a bit and slide the saturation up to bring out the lovely pastel colors. I love these relics of the post industrial age. Good find.
