shark bait 0 Posted January 23, 2008 actually is DOF or do you deliberatelly blur part of the image to focus on the boat? anyway, the result is great. I love your "framing work", I mean the black ink-like lines that frame your picture. Could you give me info on how to achieve this? thanks Link to comment
dougbrill 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Nice use of a slow shutter speed to smooth out the water. The image is striking. The two black objects pointing to the boat push the view towards the boat. If anything, maybe a little too much blur. Great Shot! Doug Link to comment
steve deer 0 Posted January 23, 2008 don this is a lensbaby image (www.lensbabies.com) the blur is all in camera... the borders are from Kubota Sloppy Borders Vol. 11 http://www.kubotaworkshops.com Link to comment
antoniobassiphotography 0 Posted January 23, 2008 The image is beautiful and very artistic. Perfect the blur for this subject, it sets a magnificent mood. Have you thought about monochrome? Link to comment
steve deer 0 Posted January 23, 2008 antonio it is monochrome, I'd normally tone it similar to your version (see my portfolio), but for some reason I wanted to leave it cool Link to comment
