cjtj50 0 Posted January 21, 2008 Oh my! I do really like this but how sad to see this at one time FANTASTIC Car all beaten down. Great work r, the tones are wonderful! Take care Link to comment
chrisvest 1 Posted January 22, 2008 found this old road warrior out in the utah desert-- gathering patina and dreaming of better days. Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted January 23, 2008 A very good creation. I much prefer the sepia version - something about the blue/Pink combination in the car that is not striking a chord with me. Just my tastes, I suppose. Regards, Link to comment
cjtj50 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Hi there, well I looked at your new edited version of iron invalid and to me I like the more vivid color 1st version BUT the other gives you a feeling that this was taken back when. So to each his own as always on PN! There both great r but I like the color as you know ;O)..Take care Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted January 29, 2008 to me the sepia version makes the old car appear to be on fire therefore i'd stick with the colored version. the one big thing that i'd recommend that you change is to clone out the wires to the right of the car as step one before doing any other post processing. your image appears to be more of a poster than a photograph. it is still a very nice image and i totally agree with your choice of perspective for the image. susan stone 0 Posted February 8, 2008 Paged down through the comments and sure enough Shawn was here, I was going to suggest to r christopher that he go look at Shawn's battered old vehicles, common interest, common ground. I love that we give these old warriors renewed life through our frozen moments, they'll be sitting there rusting long after we've turned to dust. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 23, 2008 I too find the sepia version a slightly better choice, although I would praise either. It really fun how the hood being cracked as it is added to your perspective makes the old Chevy appear to be giving a kind of embarassed self effacing grin. Sort of, "Heh heh, sorry I didn't dress up more. I didn't know I was gonna have my pic taken" feel to it. Link to comment
