davidmccracken 2 Posted January 14, 2008 Perhaps not perfect but certainly damn close. That said, I can't really see anything wrong with it and so perhaps Alon is correct. Quite fantastic. Link to comment
marcusdown 0 Posted January 14, 2008 Outstanding. for me the grain is a deliberate, delicate nuance in a first rate piece of art. The hint of Vermeer I'm sure is far from unintentional and it's difficult to walk that particular road without coming across as either pretentious or kitsch. That you manage to walk that road without falling foul to either of these pitfalls is the mark of a rare and beautiful talent. Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted January 15, 2008 The negative space is really adding to the composition. If anything the space above her is adding more focus to her gesture of dreaming. I am just not too crazy about the piercing. The piercing is minimizing the vintage effect. Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted January 15, 2008 ... like printed on linen. The shot itself is very evocative and mysterious. I think the negative space works well. Congratulations. Link to comment
