Taken in Death valley.

Nice image Jane. I like the depth you were able to obtain with the close foreground. Looks like a great place to spend some time behind a camera.

Nice work, especially with the added difficulty of the shaded foreground - wonderful light on the peak in the upper center area.

 

(Sorta' gets me thinking about prospects for another trip out there this April...)

I love the subtle and natural colours, good depth with the low light showing nice ground texture. The high horizon line works well for me too.
