nickschaefer1 0 Posted January 12, 2008 Love the contrast, the play of lines and the subject and the only thing I'm undecided about is whether there aren't actually two photographs in one here. This is because at the moment, it feels like the whole image wants to drop to the left, as the shadows seem to have too much "weight" compared to the sky and want to pull the ground from under the carriage. The first "heavier" image starts at the bottom and includes the shadows and ends at the top of the diagonally dropping strong white cloud on the left. The second and "lighter" one starts at the top of your photograph and ends slightly below the bottom of the left wheel. Image one draws its dynamics from the lines in the sky, image two draws it from the shadows of the waggon. Hope this makes some sort of sense. :) Regards, Nick Link to comment
