aepelbacher 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Every time I see a funky MiniCooper, I try to find some interesting way to shoot it. (Because I'll probably never actually own one...) :-) How did I do this time? Are the reflections of the brick sidewalk distracting? Any other thoughts? Link to comment
billystro 0 Posted January 9, 2008 I have an 03 Mini Cooper S, and it is INCREDIBLE. I love your shot, the reflection is perfect, and love the British Flag mirror caps... Great shot!! Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted January 9, 2008 the reflections of the brick make this shot for me! i would crop it square though - not a surprise since i crop most images square... :-) Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Thanks to both of you! Will - thanks for the inclusion of your baby. (sigh...) Someday a convertible Mini for Lou Ann. In the meantime, I like the shine from the light. Nice! Linda - OOooh! I like the square crop. It totally works!! Thanks! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 9, 2008 I was attracted to this as I took a similar shot not so long ago. I didn't think my shot was worth uploading. Being honest, I really don't think this is either. It lacks drama and imagination. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Thanks for your honesty, David - I think that as you were commenting here I was looking at some of your latest stuff. I respect your work and your talent, therefore I will always respect your input on my images. Thank you! Link to comment
k c 0 Posted January 11, 2008 hmm... drama? I don't know what drama this type of picture has to do with, but I do like this shot. For me the reflections of brick pavement adds more to this image (with the car's retro look although it isn't seen much here). Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 14, 2008 Thanks for taking my critique with the spirit it was intended. I guess I should have offered an opinion on how I think it would be better. The shot comes across as a snap of something 'as you found it' rather than trying to compose it to make it look more interesting. I hope you get my meaning. Link to comment
