shacknav 0 Posted January 8, 2008 Continuing the Brisfit story - 139 Sqdn detached to Villaverla in Northern Italy in 1918 operating only about 40 miles from the location of the b/g image. The Bristol F2b ceiling was 20,000ft and it is not unrealistic to protray one in this landscape. The F2b shown is in 1918 139 Sqdn markings. Composite of Duxford airshow pic and b/g (Italian Alps)from my own archives. Your comments appreciated. Link to comment
j_kluska 0 Posted January 8, 2008 This is a terrific composition. Knowing that it is a composition allows me to see that the angle of the sun is different on each of the subjects and the colors are a bit different too. The light on the mountains is a bit coolor (bluer?) than that on the plane is warmer (yellower?). Don't get me wrong...I like the photo, very much. Link to comment

shacknav 0 Posted January 8, 2008 Joseph - thanks for your comment, you are quite right - the colour 'temperatures' do not match very well. The F2b image is a RAW file so will have a look and see if I can cool it down a bit. Thought that the shadows were about correct, high right sun in both cases. Stefano - good to hear from you again and thanks for your kind comments. A Good New Year to all, from a wet and windy Scotland..........Pat. Link to comment
