tomin8r 0 Posted January 7, 2008 It looks as though you've captured a perfect moment on a perfect day. I find this photo very pleasing to look at. Composition is good. Feel free to check out my portfolio. Thanks,Tom Link to comment
joshschutz 0 Posted January 7, 2008 this photo looks a little under exposed. i think you could take this photo up 1/2 step. that would make the photo a little less saturated, but it looks like thats what you were going for. i would also make a mask over the buildings when adjusting your levels, so you don't blow out your highlights. cheers Link to comment
jimmoi_85 0 Posted June 2, 2008 you have quite a skill for capturing beautiful clouds. This is another great shot. You do the Tassie landscape justice! J Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 3, 2008 The sky makes this shot, bolstered by the color. No doubt about it. As proof, if you crop it out, and get rid of the color, you have a fairly straightforward shot with unimpressive, smack-down, overhead lighting. All this is to say you did an excellent job of making the situation work for you. The sweeping sky adds drama and energy to an otherwise textbook case of mediocrity. Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted June 4, 2008 "unimpressive, smack-down, overhead lighting"That just about sums it up, Doug! It was just after 1pm daylight savings time. In other words, near noon and close to the December solstice (i.e. Sun near its highest point in our southern skies). Couldn't find worse light, if you tried... Link to comment
jana 1 Posted December 16, 2008 Hello Peter , what a scene. I like the compositrion, the red triangle below versus the many (or 1?) blue triangles formed by the clouds in the sky ! super, cheers Jana Link to comment
