Egret at Sunset

In my compare folder I have the same shot 2x with 2 differentcroppings. Please comment on the one which you like better. And I'dappreciate it if you tell me why you like it better. Thanks.

While I like the second egret in the background, the positioning doesn't work for me (he's too high in the corner). I'd keep them both personally but I like the other crop a wee bit more.

My first time to Comment on anothers photo. Well done on 2 beautiful images. either of which can stand alone.

 

As to which of the 2 I prefer, it is this, with the 2nd egret in the background. In my view it tells a better story.

Lovely light and colors.The texture on the water is beautiful. The sharpness of the tail is cool. I would like the eye to be bright but you cant have everything, yellow is bright. The texture in front is perfect and focused. Very beautiful work Mike.
