Lake Baltezers by night

One night I was driving home at 5 AM. And then it appears..... Lake

of Wonder... Lake of Desires...

Wonderful photo, might be possible to crop it a bit though. Perhaps removing some of the left/bottom areas... I think that would make it stand out even more.

 

Did you use any filters for this picture?

The light, the sky and the water are a magic mix. Good Kristians

Not bad, but a bit too dark imo. You missed the right time by a few seconds or minutes... Regards.

No. I don't. Actually for night shots I do not use any filters. All what I had at that moment was Canon EOS 300 with EF22-55 USM, Manfrotto tripod and Fuji Press 800 negative film. Probably - f/8 and 3 min. exposure.

 

I like it, somewhat. It would make a great shot if most of the foreground were eliminated--say about where the reflection of the round tree ends. The sky is dramatic and the dock is a real key element.

Very pretty sky, but the rest of the picture is just too dark. without being effectively silhouetted.
