Spitfires banking over

2 Spitfires climb and roll together away into the sky. This is the

correct perspective, I have not rotated the image at all. It is a

fairly heavy crop but felt like a different take on these aircraft.

What do you think?

Aren't they just too gorgeous for words? I really like the composition, even though I am not a fan of extensive cropping, it really works here. I think with a fairly monochrome image like this one, it would have been perfect for a B&W treatment. Nice Mustang shot as well.

A real eye-catcher of a shot, and the cropping works well here.

 

They look like they could be Mk.V's? Can I ask where this was taken?

 

Balletic, dramatic and show the icon at it's best - excellent shot.

This was taken at Duxford's September show, 2007. The lefthand aircraft is a Mk Vc I think... Another angle of them can be found at this link
