42nd Street Shot on a Misty morning from my hotel window in the direction of the East River. Thanks for looking

Shot with the Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye and de-fished using the 'Fisheye Hemi plug-in' hence the slight distortion.

I love the quality of the light and the BIg feel of the buildings.

Would be nice to see one in portrait format to compare!

Thanks for all the kind comments and ratings.

Simon, I did shoot a few in portrait format, but these are proving impossible to correct from fisheye due to the amount of curvature along the vertical axis.

At least with my limited knowledge of Photoshop and my current plug-ins. If anyone knows how it can be done I'd be happy to try :-)

Thanks Laurent.

I have heard of DXO, but I think it is pretty expensive. I may invest more in a couple of years when I intend to make it my 'paid' hobby. First I have to upgrade my D70, but, for the moment I have reverted back to mostly shooting film as I get more enjoyment from it.

Regards

Paul
