Dancing on the Veranda (Step One)

Taken back in summer 2005 during an afternoon tea party in the

"Veranda Gallery" in zimbabwean capital Harare. The heydays of the

white farmer community in Zimbabwe were clearly over by then and the

sense of melancholy and the "what if now it is the last time" feeling

overwhelming. So, grab the girl's of your youth hand and let's

dance... (step one).

I love the spontaneity captured here; her expression, the hand pulling her in to dance, the blur of the moment around her. Really fine work. Thank you for sharing. :)
