stp 6 Posted December 23, 2007 Nice perspective. Three things I would try to do: 1) Have the foreground all in focus. The out-of-focus area at the bottom is distracting (to me, at least). 2) Get a shot without the plastic container, if at all possible. 3) Try a shot in which the green stems are also in focus (hard to do, I know, with a limited DOF). This may or may not work well; it would tend to take some emphasis away from the roots, which is the whole point of the image (IMO), and that would not be good. Still, it would be nice to compare the two approaches side by side. Link to comment
sigqumfemfe 0 Posted December 24, 2007 I'll have to get my wife to grow some more grass so I can experiment with it again. I don't think there is a way to grow the grass without the glass container but changing the level of focus would be an interesting thing to play around with. I'll give it a try!!! Link to comment
