samantha frady 0 Posted December 11, 2007 I like the conflict between the background and foreground. Nice colors. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Wonderful job!! My only nitpick is the little bit of bare left arm. I'm so picky and I don't even do portraits myself. I did a quick fix and it doesn't bother my eye as much as the bare arm - even though it is a quick fix. I don't know - what the hell do I know. It's a wonderful portrait. Period. Link to comment
leannasreflections 0 Posted December 12, 2007 I like the model and the background...good eye contact, tones, clarity and lighting. Overall nice image. I wouldnt have thought anything about the arm until Jan pointed it out. But cropping it changes the composition a bit and I think I like the uncropped better. Sorry Jan...and you do know what you are talking about. Just because you dont do portraits doesnt mean you dont know what you like. And I alway appreciate your honesty. :O) Leanna Link to comment

JohnMWright 1 Posted December 12, 2007 Lots of good comments here. I'm not sure about the arm myself, I can go either way. Her face is very pretty, with good lighting and a sense of self-assuredness that is very appealing. Well done. The background is definitely a contrast with her appearance. I'd like to see some with her entire head in the frame too. Link to comment
skersell33 0 Posted December 14, 2007 Ger! It's been a while since I've visited. I've been busy with Holiday Photo Sessions. Your work just keeps getting better and better. This is a fab portrait. Love the color. The lighting is just perfect. Nice softness to the overall image. She is stunning and most importantly... those catch lights are in the eyes! Great work! Link to comment

doug_gentry 0 Posted January 10, 2008 Ger, the softness is so sweet on this, contrasted by the wall in the back! Well done! I'm really enjoying your portrait work! Very NICE! Doug Link to comment
