ronaldwebb 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Your content is fine. The problem with shooting in overcast conditions is the flatness (lack of contrast) in the scenes and the lack of directional light. The beauty is that a properly exposed image will have lots of digital information that you can enhance in a program like Photoshop. I've attached your image with a few very quick adjustments to help the image tones "pop" a little more. Mind you, this has not had near the time or detail work spent but something where you can see some change. Feel free to take a look at my portfolio to get a better look at what I'm talking about. pjmeade 12 Posted December 7, 2007 Hello Jennifer, The composition of your shot is very acceptable, but as the previous critique points out, the flat lighting has lead to an image that lacks contrast. For digital images, that's quite easily corrected. It's also worth remembering, that you can get some very pleasing results from getting in close and photographing detail rather than the broader picture. (That's just my 2p) Regards. P Link to comment
