Do you like it?

The scene has lots of potential, but this photo doesn't grab me. The lighting doesn't flatter it, either haze or flare dulls the distant ridge and peak, and there is no center of interest.

I too am left with a feeling that something is wanted. Perhaps just the angle or the lake not central?

Keep shooting there is something here. 4/4

 

I like the variety of shadows and light - the first shadow in the foreground is very dark while the 'cloud shadows' are softer. How could the shot be improved? My personal preference would have been to photograph this early in the morning or late in the afternoon - one gets more interesting and warmer lighting. I do know that when you are traveling that you may get to a spot like this outside of the 'magical hours' of early/late day lighting. If that is the case I still take the shot anyways. I still like the image and congrats.
