kahkityoong 0 Posted November 29, 2007 Mt Wellington, Tasmania, AUSTRALIA I suspect after several unfruitful visits over the past 2 years, this location may well become my muse for the rest of my time in Tasmania. This was taken just before sunset, the last rays warmly lighting the rim of rock, the saturation further enhanced by being in the reflection. Those little white dots in the water are actually the submerged boulders giving rise to the small 'rock islands'. If you look closely you can see the outlines of the boulders but they are difficult to see on the web version. Canon 5D, 24-105mm 4L, polarizer, f16, shutter 2.5 seconds, ISO 100, tripod. lonebearimages 0 Posted November 30, 2007 This is genuine dyed-in-the-wool fine art, Kah Kit! I really love this composition and your exposure is sublime. The little 'white' sparkles, I surmise, are quartz and plagioclase feldspar crytals in the granite reflecting light. This is an absolutely superb photograph. Well seen and captured, my friend! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
