The drought on the eastern Appalachians was apparent on every trail I traveled. The frustration was built quite a bit...until I heard this and then saw this. I started taking pictures and immediately we were greeted with steady rain. Fortunately it was still possible taking pictures with the umbrella held over the camera. I spent more than one and half hour at this cascade. This really brought back all the inspirations.

Technical details are: 20d and 10-22 mm lens with polarizer on Gitzo and umbrella and lens cleaning cloth to wipe the raindrops.

It would be good to know sincere comments/critiques.
