cherlyn 1 Posted November 23, 2007 Just playing with levels & saturation. Not sure if it works. This place is actually a piece of wetland, & we need to ride horses into the wetland to have a better view of the "sea" as the land was muddy due to rain. Your feedback most appreciated. Link to comment
glaucodattini 0 Posted November 23, 2007 I think that it works well. The contrast is strong and so you losed details, but in this way stands out the silhouette of the boat and of the trees. Beautiful horizontal crop. Best regards. Glauco Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted November 23, 2007 Light creates shadow and shadow in return, enhances the appearance of the subject. The interaction of the two is fascinating. 7/7 Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted November 23, 2007 I like the near mono look and negative spaces. Has a very "clean" look to the composition. Did you stich this together ? Link to comment
richard hans 0 Posted November 23, 2007 Vivid contrast, exquisite composition with nice panorama, wonderful rendering, Cherlyn!!! Best regards Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted November 24, 2007 No stitching done, Joseph. Just cropping from the original. Thank you all for the positive feedback. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted November 24, 2007 Love the horizontal crop, Cherlyn; this would make a very nice panel on the wall. Link to comment
daily_photograph 0 Posted November 25, 2007 Remarkable I: The slight touch of colour. Remarkable II: The tension of the boats move really keeps over the whole length of the picture. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted November 25, 2007 Of the three you here have up-loaded this is my favorite. The layers building up the scene; the boat and the standing man, the horizontal lines on the water and the slightly blue distant land. All create a very well captured attractive scene. Deserves to be blown up to a double sized A3+ and put on the wall for all to admire. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted November 25, 2007 I like how each element appears separate and floating and yet makes for a cohesive statement. Link to comment
