dseltzer 0 Posted November 19, 2007 I like all the shots of this scene you've posted from the Guggenheim. This one pleases my eye the most. They all have a nice boldness of form, and a very graphic feel, but I like the angle of this one, the just-enough touch of the floors changing direction near the middle left edge, and I like the amount of skylight you've kept in this because of the context and balance it adds. You've done a wonderful job with the black and white tones, and I like what you've done with the focus that's sharp without being brittle. I'm very drawn to this image and will be back to enjoy it again. Regards, David Link to comment
bluphoto 0 Posted November 20, 2007 Nice lines and composition. Love the tonal range going from almost black to almost white. This really works. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted November 20, 2007 Ian, I like this one the best because it is so cleanly captured. I love the lighting and the shadows. It's a pleasure to view. Regards, liz Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted November 21, 2007 Ian this is one of the best, if not the best, picture I've seen of this building lately. As someone familiar with the museum, I must say that I love your composition, but this is much more than just that, the tones and smoothness of the surface is completely amazing. Congratulations, and thank you for posting! Link to comment
