very good idea. I think you could have pulled it off a bit better by following the rule of thirds. If the subjects were off to the right a bit more (maybe just by you moving in an arch to the right), it'd be much more pleasing to the eye.

I would have moved to the right a little and framed in both people within the open area between the branches. Although the way you have it makes we want to push the branches out of the way to see the other person. Interesting.
