I like the photograph and the composition. In my opinion it needs a bit more depth of field on the foreground. Also, it would work better without the brown floor, making it a two tone image and, therefore, making the green plant more noticeable. I don't know if this was possible without ruining the composition though.

What a wonderful find. I think you have made excellent use of the existing opportunity but oh if that plant had been bursting with yellow flowers the clash of colour would be electric.
