Thank you everybody for the thoughtful comments. One can never underestimate hope. It is a powerful force. I personally believe that one's own personal contribution is the starting point to move mountains. After all, doesn't the ocean start with a drop of water?

Quite an interesting picture, I have no sense of the scale here which allows it to live in a world of its own.

Pnina and Adan, in my view shaken hands remains a powerful gesture of interpersonal relationships between people. When our leaders shake hands in front of cameras don't hope for too much.

Some feelings, just like gestures, are universal. Distrust of politicians is one of them. I agree with you Anders.

Soft tones, gentle lighting for this optimistic photo of a sort of utopia. I think there are/were some heads of state and politicians for whom the handshake really means something.
