Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 18, 2007 Very nice, it's a shot I would like to have taken. That the single pedestrian is in the process of disappearing into the lower left darkness adds to the interest of the picture. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted November 18, 2007 Thanks Adan and Jack. It was taken an early morning with the light sufficiently low for enhancing the contrast between the wet stones in the street. I got three/four shots before the girl disappeared out of the scene. I agree with you Jack that something special happens having the person walk out of the frame instead of the usual walking in feature. Link to comment

3m 0 Posted August 7, 2010 I like your composition here, and agree that by having the person walking out of the frame, and into the shade adds interest to the photo. The main visible feature, the yellow curved line, seems to divide two distinct planes of different textures, and leads the eye very nicely through your photo -- Keen eye, and good capture! cyanatic 0 Posted August 7, 2011 Not much to contribute other than to acknowledge admiration for this image and agreement with Jack and Marjolein that the choice of the girl exiting the frame was the more effective one. Link to comment
