I love this one. I don't know how you do it, but you are very good at it. I am not familiar with Veszprem and I had to look at the map. Are you traveling through or you are staying there? Looks like a nice small town. I just came back from Italy, staying in Bologna for 16 days. So glad to see your photos.

Thank you for the very kind comment.

Somehow photo.net is not anymore what it was in 2005, when I was waiting for my contract in Italy. Much more comments were written then. It is true I am now a subscriber and hence posting less (I don't need to be active to maintain my quota).

I am not anymore in Italy and now waiting for a contract again. It is a reintegration grant in Romania.

I hope you had a nice time in Italy. I found some photos in your portofolio.

I was just travelling through Veszprém. I was staying in Balatonakarattya, which is about 30 minutes by bus from there. By train there are 2 hours, since you have to change in Székesfehérvár. It is a university town, still. I went there mainly to see the theatre (see photos which will follow), which is by architect István Medgyaszay, and which was part of a referat I wrote. But people told me to see the citadel, too, and I am not sorry. It was the last sunny day I had in Hungary this summer.

ciao

I like in this photo that the hat has almost the same combination of

colours as the roofs. What do you think?

thank you for any comments

When I saw the thumbnail, the at really looked part of te landscape. Excellent observation. what would be really nice is to take this shot from a higher angle with the hat and the rooftops completely filling the frame. The face (wit the lipstick) and the blue sky at the background somehow does not match the colours of the main themem of the photo.

Yes, photo.net has changed. Peraps too many submissions. Although the number of users and submissions have increasedthe number of diligent photographers willing to give constructive criticism has remained the same. I try to leave comments but then I am just a novice. I too wish that I would get more feedback from experiended people ...

Thank you very much for leaving a comment.

I too would have wished another angle, maybe staying at the other end of the citadel, but then again this was the only place to climb ...

thank you again
