sv solomon photography 0 Posted May 8, 2008 I like this portrait because of the color. Even the skin tones are somewhat cool. The mood is "aloof". "Blue" has been mentioned before, but I appreciate the detail in the blue eyes. To me, portraiture should expose to the viewer some character of the subject which is told through the eyes. If you can't see the eyes, then you can't see the individual.You're close enough to achieve this. The crop of the image is good and the reflection of the form in the background gives weight to the composition. Great expression! Very well done and my compliments to your model.
