aepelbacher 0 Posted October 21, 2007 I especially like these flowing water images. Tell me about your exposure to achieve this effect ... did you shoot them when there was very low lighting? ISO? Shutter priority set long? Tripod? Link to comment
msoskil 0 Posted October 21, 2007 I played around with a few different exposures, but what seemed to work best was an open app., somewhere around 5.6 and exposure times of about 1/2 second. D70 ISO set at 200. The water was really flowing, so on another day I probably would have needed a slightly longer exposure. They were taken after sunrise, but in total shade in a shallow ravine. I searched for a while to find a small rapid where there was a good reflection of foliage from the other side of the stream. -Mike Link to comment

copeg 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Beautiful shot. Love the colors, and the exposure length is spot on to really capture the motion of the water. Link to comment
fototakernandalucia 1 Posted March 7, 2019 Great concept to get the Autumn reflections in rushing waters!! Like how you chose a speed to maintain the texture of the waters! Well done!! Link to comment
